Wire USD from your company account. A licensed partner converts it and AIUSD is minted the same day.
The dollar for compute credit.
Issued on Loka Chain and backed 1:1 by native USDC held in a reserve contract on Ethereum, checkable on-chain. On Loka Capital, lenders fund loans in it, each loan keeps its reserve in it, and repayments arrive in it. Holding it pays no interest and carries no loan risk.

Fully backed, checkable on-chain.
Every AIUSD on Loka Chain is backed by one native USDC in the reserve contract on Ethereum. The reserve is never less than supply: AIUSD is minted only after the USDC has arrived, and burned before any USDC leaves.
AIUSD is minted only against a verified deposit into the reserve, and the USDC leaves only to pay a redemption. There is no admin key for either, Loka included. Minting has a daily cap and stops on its own if supply ever exceeds the reserve. The reserve is never lent, invested or used to cover loan losses.
Supply on Loka Chain and the reserve on Ethereum are both on-chain, so anyone can check them at any time instead of waiting for a monthly report. Loka also reconciles bank, USDC and AIUSD balances daily and sends each lender a monthly statement.
An independent audit before launch and before every upgrade. Upgrades go through a multisig with a time lock and are announced in advance.

Lend
Commit AIUSD to a loan. It waits in that loan's escrow until the drawdown conditions are met.

Why loans settle in AIUSD.
Every loan on Loka Capital is denominated in AIUSD, so each step of a loan happens in contracts anyone can check: who committed, what is held in reserve, and how each month’s rent was split.

Questions.
What is AIUSD?
The dollar Loka Capital loans settle in. It is redeemable 1:1 for USDC, and loans, escrow, reserves and repayments on Loka Capital are all denominated in it.
How do I get AIUSD?
Verify your business, then wire USD from a company account with your reference code, or deposit USDC from a registered wallet. Either way, AIUSD is minted 1:1 into your account.
Which network is AIUSD on?
AIUSD is issued on Loka Chain, where every Loka Capital loan also runs, so you hold one balance. The reserve is native USDC in a contract on Ethereum. USDC on another network can be moved to Ethereum with Circle's CCTP before you deposit.
Do I mint for every loan?
No. AIUSD stays in your balance and can be committed to several loans over time. Repayments and refunds land back in the same balance, so you can lend them again without another wire, or redeem them.
Can I always redeem it?
AIUSD in your account can be redeemed 1:1 for USDC, or for USD sent to your registered company account. AIUSD committed to a loan stays in that loan's escrow and follows the loan's terms.
What are the risks?
AIUSD is only as sound as USDC, the stablecoin backing it, and the AIUSD contract itself, which is audited before launch. AIUSD committed to a loan carries that loan's credit risk until it is repaid.
Does AIUSD pay interest?
No. Holding AIUSD earns nothing. Returns come from lending it on Loka Capital, at each loan's fixed rate.
Does holding AIUSD expose me to loans?
No. The USDC behind AIUSD is never lent or used to cover loan losses. Only AIUSD you commit to a specific loan carries that loan’s risk.
What do borrowers gain from settling in AIUSD?
Proposed: a lower rate for borrowers who keep extra reserve in AIUSD, or whose tenants pay rent straight into the loan’s collection contract. Cash that is on-chain from the moment it arrives is visible to lenders and controlled by the contract. The size of any reduction is set in each loan’s terms.
Who issues AIUSD and where is the reserve?
AIUSD is issued by a contract on Loka Chain, deployed by Loka. The reserve is the native USDC locked in Loka's reserve contract on Ethereum. AIUSD is minted only after USDC arrives in the reserve, and the USDC can only leave to pay a redemption.
